Adam Nevala, 40, rejoins the Los Angeles Major League Athletic Training Staff for his twelfth year and sixth as the Angels Head Athletic Trainer after working in the team’s minor league system for eight seasons. Nevala served as the head athletic trainer in AAA Salt Lake City where he spent two seasons (2003-2004). Prior to that, he was the head athletic trainer for AA Arkansas (2002), Rancho Cucamonga (2001), Lake Elsinore (2000), Cedar Rapids (1999), and assistant athletic trainer/clubhouse manager in Butte (1998). In 2002 (Detroit), 2003 (Phoenix), and 2006 (Atlanta), Adam was a member of the PBATS faculty at the annual team medicine conference. He was selected to represent the American League as the head athletic trainer during the 2015 All Star Game in Cincinnati OH. A native of Minnesota, Nevala, received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and his Master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania. Adam, his wife Tina, and son Jackson reside in Irvine, CA.
